Vaccine Rates: Who's Leading the Race?

Not that it's a race. Or maybe it is now. As we move into a new phase of the pandemic, it's worth looking back on our vaccine numbers.

What are we seeing?

The total population over the age of sixteen, with three (or more) doses is not the same as what we consider the 'fully vaccinated population'. Our national vaccination rate sits at around 95% fully vaccinated.

How does that look over time?

We've been averaging nearly 120,000 cases daily since we began recording COVID-19 cases on 22 February, 2021. Our vaccination rate has also been increasing pretty significantly over the last month as the realisation hits that this current wave could get serious.
